Toronto Art Galleries
As an artist, I am really finding the discussion about Art Shows helpful to my professional career. What about art galleries in the Toronto area? I personally find Canvas Gallery excellent to deal with and successful when it comes to completing sales. Their staff consists of Megan and Mark (the owners), Christie, Erin, Yvonne and Kotuma. They are very communicative with their artists and positively promote artist work in the media. I highly recommend artist approaching them with submissions via email. Check out www.canvasgallery.ca.
This web site is a great idea but it is not very user freindly.
What problem, specifically, have you had with the site?
We would like to invite all Toronto student artists who are interested in pursuing art in college or university to join us at USCollegeExpo at Exhibition Place - Queen Elizabeth Building on January 13th & 14th, 2012.
Get answers to questions like: How many fine arts schools exist in the US? What are the National Portfolio Days (and how do you participate)? What are fine arts schools looking for? How do you develop your portfolio? Do you have to write SATs and SAT Subject Tests?
